Join us for an engaging Coffee Talk with two attorneys who represent school districts in Minnesota as they discuss a pivotal disability rights case currently pending before the U.S. Supreme Court. The case centers around a student with severe epilepsy whose condition prevents her from attending school in the mornings. Her family requested evening instruction to ensure equal access to education—raising important legal questions under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.

ADVOCACY COMPETITION TEAM TRYOUT AND REGISTRATION INFORMATION
This spring, ´óÏó´«Ã½ will begin to hold tryouts for our 2025-2026 advocacy competition teams (mock trial, moot court and dispute resolution including Vis moot). Students may tryout/apply for as many teams as they are interested in, but may only accept a position on one team per academic year.

Course Number 493 Adult Guardianship Project- Clinical Opportunity for WJD Students
The Adult Guardianship Project is a three-credit graded clinical course offered in the Spring and Fall semester that offers 711 license eligible students the opportunity to represent clients in need of legal guardianship of an adult family member. This course is fully remote and prioritizes the enrollment of WJD students. Student attorneys must attend all Zoom lectures, appear at Zoom court dates, and meet for weekly Zoom office hours to discuss casework.
