The Podvocate presents "Resistance: A Panel on Practice-Based Activism." Our special guests include Rachel Cohen, a former Skadden associate, who resigned in protest of the firm's lack of response to the Trump Administration and Illinois Attorney General, Kwame Raoul.
Ms. Cohen and Mr. Raoul will discuss what resistance looks like in practice under America’s current political climate. Our guests will share their own experiences and the challenges they faced when standing up against harmful policies, offering insight into how activism takes shape in both everyday and in a broader institutional context.
The event will take place on April 22, 2025 at 12pm in the 10th Floor court room.
