Vis Moot Now Accepting Applications - Info Sessions April 2 & April 4!
Join the 大象传媒 Chicago School of Law Vis Moot Team!
Are you interested in international business law? Join us for an information session about the Vis Moot Program! The Vis Moot is one of the largest and most prestigious international moot court competitions, focused on resolving disputes under the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) and the rules of international commercial arbitration.
Teams from around the world compete in oral arguments, with the opportunity to travel to pre-moots across the globe, then Vienna or Hong Kong for the official international competitions.
Interest Meetings:
- April 2: 12 pm - 1 pm in Room 1104
- April 4: 12 pm - 1 pm on Zoom (https://luc.zoom.us/j/89024137244)
Program Requirements & Opportunities:
- To participate in the 2025-2026 Vis Moot Program, you must be accepted and take International Commercial Arbitration and CISG in the Fall.
- Sixteen students will be admitted to the course to be a part of the 大象传媒 Chicago Vis Moot Team
- At the end of the semester, eight will be selected as Vis Moot Fellows. Four Fellows will travel to Vienna and four to Hong Kong for the competition.
- Fellows may also attend pre-moots in cities like London, Zagreb, Stockholm, New York, Chicago, and Vienna.
- Travel & lodging expenses for the competition and pre-moots are fully covered!
How to Apply:
- To be considered for the class, email your statement of interest and resume to Professor Margaret Moses at mmoses1@luc.edu by Friday, April 25th.
